  i'm old school...no my scene, in fact i don't really like the newer "regular" barbie dolls they have with the bigger heads...it's getting harder in dallas to find dolls that aren't my scene, and forget finding any clothes!! my scene has terrific clothes, but if i start with that line, i'll never start.....

    i have added some of my collection of indian barbie.. in photo section...vikki i m inviting you in my tribe there is more then 400 womens are member if you like you can tell them about this barbie tribe and your link.. i know many will join it

    The MyScenes looked really weird to me too at first...but now I really like them. I only have one that a friend gave me for my bday (Barbie) but I think now I need a dark headed one. You're right vikki, thats how it starts! I cant stand the big lemon headed kelly's tho.

      I collect old movie or old TV Barbies. I have Gone With The Wind, Breakfast At Tiffanys, My Fair Lady... As far as TV, Bewitched, I Dream Of Jeannie and old shows only. I try to stay with a theme so things dont get totally out of hand. I used to collect Mackie but I stopped those a while ago.

  I have a theme, actually 3 themes: vintage (pre-MOD), MOD era, and My Scene/Bratz. I try to set specific boundaries financially with these and refuse to pay megabucks for a particular doll, fashion, or playset, unless I either really want or have no choice but to pay it. I really love the challenge of finding appropriately-themed items that are cost effective and don't look it. If you look around and use your imagination, you'll be amazed at the possibilities!

    I have a few themes....my main one being Mermaids....I collect Mermaids and Barbies, so if a Barbie Mermaid comes along Im in heaven. I also love any Medieval Barbies, and any "Bellydance" (using that very loosely) themed Barbies, and T.V. sitcom Barbies. One of my absolute favorites "I dream of Jeannie"
    I do like the My Scene and Bratz dolls but only have 1 Bratz doll, she is one of the Genie's.
