    Hey!

Its nice to finally see someone here! So which ones do you collect? Which ones you want to get?
The last one I got was a MyScene Barbie one of my friends gave me for my bday a couple of weeks ago. I really like it, I didnt have any of those and I'm really loving all the little accessories (I love all the tiny trinkets)

I collect...Barbie and Ken sets, and I also have the entire wedding collections as well as most of the holiday collection. I was given the Wizard of Oz set a few years back for my birthday. I not only collect the dolls, but the houses, cars, and accessories

Hiya! I am a total Barbie fanatic! I collect mostly vintage, but I do also collect some of the newer dolls. I like some of the new Fashion Fevers coming out, and I really love the My Scene dolls.
I have about 300 Barbie dolls including current and vintage, as well as Barbie clones. I have 10 or so vintage playsets too.

My fave era to collect is the MOD era. And my fave doll of the entire Barbie line is FRANCIE! :)

    love & prayers, Lynda

Hello, I hope you're all still here.

Yes, I'm a grown azz woman who loves Barbie and I'm not ashamed to say it.

Did anybody see when the real "Barbie" ( the name sake) came on the Oprah show and gave "O" her own Barbie?
She had the legacy ball gown, the hair...I almost cried! Too bad it's a one of a kind, I'd buy one.

By the way, I like to collect the Chiristmas and Birthstone Barbies.

I've collected a few of my old ones off ebay, as well as a couple that came out after I stopped playing with them and got rid of my old ones. I remember giving all of my old ones to a Christmas charity program. That included the blonde bubble cut Barbie that my sister got for Christmas 43 years ago, as well as her Ken with the molded flat hair! You know how much those are going for on ebay now?!! Whoever got those and some of the others may have made a fortune if they kept it, and may be off welfare by now. What I have off ebay at this point are the brunette Skipper and blonde Scooter like I had and the Peaches and Cream Barbie that I always wanted when it was new. I picked the black one because I thought the peach and cream clothing went so nicely with the skin color. I had a choice on ebay at the time. I also have the Purple Passion Barbie in a brunette, which I got for Christmas a few years back when my sister was with me in a toy store, and I discovered it. I can't remember if I replaced my Midge and Francie on ebay; I've put them all away since then because my room was getting cluttered. I think they're on the closet shelf, so I'll have to check them out soon. Maybe I'll be able to find some of the old clothing I had also, however, a lot of what we had was hand-made by a lady in Kansas. I found out that some of what I thought were hers were really sold in the Barbie line by Mattel, so maybe I will find some of them.

I also have the Barbie Queen of the Prom game from when the 30-year edition came out. My sister had the old one, and I always went for Poindexter. Supposedly he was the geeky nerd, but I thought he was cute from the time I was 4 or 5 when I saw my sister's game. I had my sister's for awhile after she didn't want it anymore and then got rid of it myself. My brother noticed the new one about 11 years ago and got it for me for Christmas. I proved to the whole family then, what Poindexter looked like. They all thought they remember horn-rimmed glasses (that was TOM!) and I knew Poindexter just had little beady eyes and no glasses. Don't tell ME I don't know my Poindexter!!

I didn't understand the point of the game when I was 4 or 5. Whenever I was told I could go to any square on the board, instead of going to a place where I could collect what I needed for the prom, I'd head for the snack bar! It cost me money, but I'd get munchies!! Maybe not.
